At the age of 16, she left it to study abroad and completed a visual communications program at Northern Lights College in British Columbia, Canada. In 1993, she transferred to a 2 years college and majored in Graphic Design at Morris County College in United States. In 1997, she graduated from William Paterson University with a Masters of Art in Computer Animation. She was also attending art classes at Joe Kubert Art Center and comic art seminars at a school of Visual Arts.

Right after graduation, Sze got her first job as a character modeler at a local game company Hypnotix. Year later she was working as a character modeler at 3D online content creation company Viewpoint Corporation. And for the past 6 years she has been making female characters for Blur Studio’s game cinematics filling the role of Character Modeling Supervisor. She has created such cg characters as Kitty Hunting for XSI|Face Robot, Rayne for Blood Rayne2, Keaira for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, Tyris for Golden Axe: Beast Rider and recently Dark Elf Sorceress for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Currently Sze is the Character Modeling Supervisor at Blur Studio, in Southern CA

He was named in August 2004 as one of Marvel Comics’ “Young Guns”, a group of artists who have the qualities that make “a future superstar penciller”, according to Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada. He teamed with comic book writer Warren Ellis for the post-Avengers Disassembled relaunch of Iron Man. He also helped design the Iron Man suit for Jon Favreau’s 2008 Iron Man film and drew an Iron Man mini-series written by the film’s director Jon Favreau. Currently, Granvo lives in Leeds, West in the United Kingdom.

Her work consists mainly of woodcut paintings & dioramas, in addition to fluid inkwork drawings and sketches. Her stories involve girls and imps, fairies and troublemakers of a most endearing yet bizarre sort. Her narratives find leads in precarious and naughty little circumstances with other players helping along the tales of mishaps and silly shenanigans.

Miss Mindy was born into a family of artists and designers. Her grandmother worked as an ink and painter at Disney in the 1930s, her other side of the family were illustrators, muralists and puppeteers. In addition, her sister, CJ Metzger has been a collaborator and muse.

In addition to her fine art, Miss Mindy is an accomplished illustrator, concept and product designer for such clients as Hard Rock Cafe, House of Blues, Zippo, and Warner Brothers, & Nickelodeon. Miss Mindy has written and illustrated two books with Baby Tattoo Books Publishing, “Miss Mindy’s Sassy Paper Doll Bonanza” and “Teenie Weenie Tales” which can be found in the “Artists Sisters: Box of Stories” book set. She’s also dabbled in the vinyl toy realm, creating a little doll named “DINK” with Mindstyle toys.

Her artwork can be found in private collections throughout the United States and abroad, and at various galleries including Pop Santa Fe , La Luz de Jesus, the WWA Gallery in Culver City.
